RECOMMENDATION TO COMMON COUNCIL TO ACQUIRE LANDS
LOCATED IN THE NE 'A OF SECTION 10 FOR EXPANSION OF THE
FREEDOM SQUARE STORMWATER PONDS
(PART OF TAX KEY NO 2198.981)
WHEREAS, The City of Muskego adopted Stormwater Management Plan
identified the need for capacity in the Freedom Square ponds, and identified the
need for additional water quality enhancements associated with said ponds, and
WHEREAS, The City of Muskego adopted Project Plan for Tax Increment District
8 depicts an expansion of the Freedom Square Stormwater Management Ponds,
and
WHEREAS, The property is currently used for agricultural purposes and open
space purposes, and
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission recommends the
acquisition of part of the property identified by Tax Key No. 2198.981 for
stormwater management purposes. 0
