RECOMMENDATION TO COMMON COUNCIL TO ACQUIRE LANDS
WAY (TAX KEY NOS 2167.995.001 AND 2202.999)
LOCATED IN THE SE ’A OF SECTION 2 FOR MOORLAND ROAD RIGHT-OF-
WHEREAS, The City of Muskego 2010 Street System Plan depicts Moorland
Road to be an 80 foot wide ultimate right-of-way between Janesville Road and
Woods Road. and
WHEREAS, The City of Muskego has an accepted offer to purchase
approximately 28 acres of land adjacent to the extension of Moorland Road, and
site access is required from said extension, and
WHEREAS, The property is currently used for agricultural purposes, and
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission recommends the
acquisition of the Moorland Road right-of way between Janesville Road and the
proposed community center site.
