PCR2001121a DEFEATED APPROVAL TO ALLOW TRUCK PARKING FOR THE WEPCo PROPERTY LOCATED AT S79 RESOLUTION #P.C. 121-2001 W16464 WOODS ROAD I TAX KEY NO. 2218.990.001 (NW X of Section 15) WHEREAS, Plans were submitted by WEPCo to allow parking of a maintenance vehicle at the substation property located at S79 W16464 Woods Road on July 31,2001, and WHEREAS, The property is zoned RS-2, Suburban Residence District and the existing electric substation use is in conformance to all the requirements of said zoning district, and WHEREAS, The proposed truck parking is for the purpose of enhancing response times to emergency and hazard calls, and WHEREAS, The proposed vehicle measures 30-feet in length and weights approximately 26,000 pounds loaded with equipment, and WHEREAS, The vehicle is proposed to be parked along the west side of the substation structure, and screened from view by the existing trees and shrubs, and THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission approves of parking of a maintenance vehicle at their property located at S79 W16464 Woods Road. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a landscape plan shall be submitted to the Plan Commission for approval which provides ample screening of the proposed truck parking area. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a copy of said plans be kept on file in the Building Department and that all aspect of this plan as they relate to landscape areas building facades and drainage shall be maintained in perpetuity unless otherwise authorized by the Plan Commission. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That failure to comply with the approval contained in this resolution shall result in the imposition of fines of $100 per day, the initiation of legal action, or both.
