APPROVAL OF A SKETCH PRELIMINARY PLAT FOR THE ADDITION TO
ROSEWOOD ESTATES SUBDIVISION BY ROSEWOOD ESTATES
PARTNERSHIP, LOCATED IN THE NE % AND NW 'A OF SECTION 11
WHEREAS, A sketch for a preliminary plat was submitted by Rosewood Estates Partnership for
an Addition to Rosewood Estates Subdivision of the Miller property located in the NE Y, and NW
'A of Section 11, on July 5, 2001, and
WHEREAS, Said plat consist of approximately 7.55 acres, and proposes 9 residential parcels of
approximately 20,000 square feet in size, and one outlot, and
size of 20,000 square feet and an average minimum width of 110 feet, and said lots appear to
WHEREAS, Said property is zoned RS-2 Suburban Residence District, requiring a minimum lot
meet said minimum zoning requirements, and
WHEREAS, The 2010 Comprehensive Plan depicts this area for private open space and
recreation, and said proposal will require a Plan amendment to medium density residential, and
WHEREAS, Said parcels will be serviced by City sewer and may access water through private
well or municipal systems, and
WHEREAS, Wetlands are present on the parcel, and have been field delineated by the
Southeastern Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission in conjunction with the platting of the
Rosewood Estates Subdivision, and
WHEREAS, The subject street is illustrated to be a temporary cul-de-sac, which terminates at the
plat line to provide connectivity to the adjacent parcel.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission approves of a 7.55 acre, 9 parcel / I
outlot sketch preliminary plat for the Addition to Rosewood Estates Subdivision by Rosewood
be receptive to the submittal of a preliminary plat.
Estates Partnership, located on the Miller property in the NE X and NW 'A of Section 11, and will
only an indication of the current intent of the Plan Commission; Final submittals are subject to
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That this approval is granted in concept only and final action is
future review and consideration by the Plan Commission, municipal committees of jurisdiction,
and other agencies, and approval of final plans is not guaranteed by this action of the Plan
Commission.
