PCR2001087APPROVAL OF A MONUMENT SIGN FOR THE LAKE FOREST SUBDIVISION IN THE
RESOLUTION #P.C. 087-2001
BOULEVARD ENTRANCE ON ANCIENT OAKS DRIVE
WHEREAS, Plans for a monument sign was submitted by Philip Sherman for the Lake Forest
Subdivision located in the NE X of Section 17 (Ancient Oaks Drive) on May 29, 2001, and
WHEREAS, A 35 square foot monument sign is proposed in the boulevard of Ancient Oaks Drive
which will contain a 6 square foot nameplate to replace the existing subdivision entrance sign,
and
WHEREAS, Said sign will be externally illuminated by the existing floodlight, and be constructed
with Lannon stone and a Sandstone nameplate, and
WHEREAS, Landscaping currently exists around the base of the monument sign, and
WHEREAS, A subdivision entrance sign was previously approved by the Public Works
Committee to be located within the public right-of-way, and
WHEREAS, Such signage requires Plan Commission approval prior to the issuance of a building
and zoning permit, and
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission approves a 35 square foot
monument sign which includes a 6 square foot nameplate as submitted for the Lake Forest
Subdivision located in the NE X of Section 17 (Ancient Oaks Drive).
