APPROVAL OF A TEMPORARY BUILDING SITE AND
FIREWORKS FOR SHIRLEY FlGLlNSKl AT THE
OPERATION PLAN FOR SALE OF
-BURGER KING PROPERTY

WHEREAS, A request has been submitted by Shirley Figlinski to locate a temporary sales tent and signs
advertising the sale of fireworks at the -Burqer Kinq property located at S74 WGW3
W17095 Janesville Road, and I
WHEREAS, Temporary sales vendors are limited to one on site at any one time, and no other vendors
have been approved for this location, and
WHEREAS, The dates and the hours of operation will be June 2dh, 2001 through July 4Ih, 2001 from
9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m.
WHEREAS, The tent canopy will be 20' x a30' in size and will contain banners of an undetermined size I
on the tent, and
WHEREAS, A temporary sign measuring 4' by 8' is proposed to be mw&&located on the wshg
wedqe of the parcel next to the Janesville Road riqht-of-way, and
WHEREAS, Petitioner has received written permission from the properly owner for the use of the
premises, and
WHEREAS, Petitioner has received written permission for the use of sanitary facilities at the &@&
Burqer Kina restaurant-, and
tLannon Drive, and
WHEREAS, There is ample on-site parkinq to accommodate the temporaw use. and said use does not
pose any inlernal traffic circulation problems< 3. and
WHEREAS, An electrical permit and inspection will be required by the Building Inspection Department
for any proposed electricity hookup.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission approves the request for a temporary
stand at the former Parkland Mall site for fireworks sales for Shirley Figlinski subject to the following
conditions:

2. Hours of operation permitted only from 9am to 9pm Monday through Saturday and from 9am

3. Applicable permits I licensing must be obtained from the Building Inspection department prior
