PCR20010840 RECOMMEND DREAMLAND SUBURBAN E$ RESOLUTION #P.C. 084-2001 ATION OF APPROVAL TO REZONE A PART OF THE PLANNED DEVELOPMENT PROPERTY FROM RSE jTATE DISTRICT TO 8-3 / OPD GENERAL BUSINESS DISTRICT WITH PLANNED DEVELOPMENT OVERLAY DISTRICT LOCATED IN THE SE 'h OF SECTION 2 (PART OF TAX KEY NO. 2167.995) WHEREAS, On May 25, 2001 a petition for rezoning was submitted by National Survey and Engineering to rezone the 6.99 acres of the Dreamland Planned Development District property from RSE Suburban Estate District to B-3 / OPD General Business District with Planned Development Overlay District, and WHEREAS, The proposed rezoning is in accordance with the conceptual revisions to the Dreamland Planned Development District as approved by the Plan Commission under Resolution #P.C. 048-2001, on April 3, 2001, and WHEREAS, A Public Hearing for the rezoning has been scheduled before the Common Council on July 10,2001, and WHEREAS, The adjacent properties are zoned RSE Suburban Estate (subject to preservation restrictions in accordance with the approved Planned Development District) to the north or east, 6-3 / OPD to the south, and 8-3 General Business District to the west, and WHEREAS, The 2010 Comprehensive Plan anticipates this specific area being set aside for multiple family residential uses consistent with the approved concept of the Dreamland Planned Development District, and a Comprehensive Plan Revision has been petitioned in conjunction with the rezoning petition. THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission does hereby recommend approval to the Common Council for the rezoning of approximately 6.99 acres from RSE Suburban Estate District to B-3 / OPD General Business District with Planned Development Overlay District.
