APPROVAL OF AN ACCESSORY STRUCTURE FOR
S85 W17705 WOODS ROAD (TAX KEY NO. 2224.994.010)
THE PALMERSHEIM PROPERTY LOCATED AT
WHEREAS, On May 16. 2001 a site plan and construction information was submitted by Jeffrey
W17705 Woods Road, and
Palmersheim to construct a 624 square foot accessory structure at the property located at S85
WHEREAS, The property is zoned RS-1. Suburban Residence District, and where said structure
is a permitted accessory use and subject to Plan Commission review per Section 4.05 (2) C.1,
and
WHEREAS, The total square footage for accessory structures is limited to 60% of the first floor
area of the residence and the residence contains 1,041 square feet which would allow 625
square feet of total square footage of accessory buildings, and
WHEREAS, No outbuildings currently exist on the parcel, and
WHEREAS, The location of the structure meets the required setback and offsets. the ultimate
height is limited to 15 feet, the architectural appearance would be compatible with the applicant's
surrounding area, and the materials submitted do not propose the use of this nor any other
structure on the property for business related activities, and
WHEREAS, The structure will be constructed with white vinyl siding, cultured stone on the west
elevation, and an asphalt shingled roof with two-foot eves, and the materials and colors will match
the existing residence.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission approves of a compatible size
structure not exceeding 624 square feet for the Palmersheim property at S85 W17705 Woods
Road in accordance to Section 4.05 (1) B and 6.1 1 (2).
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That failure to comply with the terms of this resolution and the
approved site plans shall result in the issuance of fines of $100 per day per violation, the initiation
of legal action, or both.
