RECOMMENDATION OF APPROVAL TO REZONE PROPERTY FROM 6-3
GENERAL BUSINESS DISTRICT TO 8-3 / OIP GENERAL BUSINESS
DISTRICT WITH INSTUTITIONAL AND PUBLIC SERVICE OVERLAY
DISTRICT, LOCATED IN THE SE ‘A OF SECTION
(TAX KEY NO. 2195.960 / W180 S7677 PIONEER DRIVE)
WHEREAS, On April 23,2001 a petition for rezoning was submitted by the
Planning Department to rezone the City of Muskego property from 6-3 General
Business District to 8-3 OIP General Business District with OIP Institutional and
Public Service District, and
WHEREAS, The total area to be rezoned would include approximately 0.52
acres to allow for permanent open space development, and
WHEREAS, A Public Hearing for the rezoning has been scheduled before the
Common Council on May 22,2001, and
WHEREAS, The 2010 Comprehensive Plan anticipates this specific area being
set aside for open space uses and proposal is consistent with the Plan.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission does hereby
recommend approval to the Common Council for the rezoning of approximately
0.52 acres from 8-3 General Business District to 6-3 OIP General Business
District with OIP Institutional and Public Service District
