APPROVAL OF AN ANNUAL REVIEW FOR SALE OF
FIREWORKS FOR LYNN SORCE AT THE
NORTHEAST CORNER OF THE SENTRY PARKING LOT
IN THE MUSKEG0 CENTER SHOPPING COMPLEX
(W189 S7847 RACINE AVENUE)
WHEREAS, A request has been submitted by Lynn Sorce to locate a temporary sales tent
and signs advertising the sale of fireworks at the Sentry Shopping Centre located at W189
S7847 Racine Avenue, and
WHEREAS, Fireworks sales were operated at this location last year without any reported
problems and that temporary sales vendors are limited to one on site at any one time, and
WHEREAS, The dates and the hours of operation will be June 20Ih. 2001 through July 5'h,
2001 from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m.
WHEREAS, The tent canopy will be 20' x 30' in size and will contain four 4' x 8' banners on
the tent, and
WHEREAS, A site plan has been tiled for Staff review and that proof of sanitary facilities
accommodations has been provided, and
WHEREAS, An electrical permit and inspection will be required by the Building Inspection
Department for the electricity hookup.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission approve the request for a
temporary stand at the Sentry parking lot in the Muskego Center Shopping Complex for
fireworks sales for Lynn Sorce subject to the following conditions:
1 Dates of operation approved from June 20, 2001 to July 5. 2001, subject to removal
2. Hours of operation permitted only from 9am to 9pm Monday through Saturday and
3. A letter of approval from the property owner has been submitted to the Planning
of the Seasonal Garden Center prior to commencement of operations, and
from 9am to 6pm on Sundays, and
Department approving rental space for one year to Ms. Sorce with the understanding
that only one temporary use will be allowed on site, and
department prior to any site work on the property.
4. Applicable permits I licensing must be obtained from the Building Inspection
5. Petitioner obtain a Transient Merchants License from the Clerk-Treasurer's Ofice.
