AMENDED
APPROVAL OF REPLACEMENT SIGNS FOR U.S BANK (FIWA FIRSTAR) FOR THE PROPERTY
LOCATED AT S75 W17125 JANESVILLE ROAD ITAX KEY NO. 2199.997.001
WHEREAS, On February 22, 2002, Plans to replace the existing free-standing sign and wall sign was
submitted by US Bank (f/k/a Firstar) for the property located i S75 W17125 Janesville Road I Tax Key
No. 2199.997.001 on February 22, 2002. and said Plans were revised on March 5, 2002, and
WHEREAS, The property is zoned 8-2. Local Service Center, and building and site signs are permitted
subject to Section 17:6.09 of the Zoning Code, and

WHEREAS, A 73 square foot free-standing sign currently exists on the parcel, and said sign is 21-feet in
and
height and setback 7-feet from the Janesville Road right-of-way, and said sign is legal non-conforming,
WHEREAS, The petitioner is proposing a XLSLp&& 50 SF monument sign, and said sign is SIX five
feet in height and without setback Ffeet from the Janesville Road right-of-way, and the Code allows a
maximum sign area of 51.75 square feet, and ~ "

WHEREAS, The kee&m&+
corporate colors, and
monument sign will be internally illuminated, and reflect the US Bank
WHEREAS, A 51 square foot, channel letter wall sign currently exists on the Janesville Road elevation,
and said sign is legal and conforming, and
WHEREAS, The petitioner is proposing a -55 SF combination box -type and channel set letter sign to 1
replace the existing Janesville Road wall sign, and 0 WHEREAS, Such signage requires Plan Commission approval prior to the issuance of a building and
zoning permit, and
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission approves of replacement signs for the US
Bank (flkla Firstar) property located in the SW X of Section 10.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission approves of a 72 50 SF pykm monument sign,
W& five feet in height, and without setback % from the Janesville Road right-of-way. I
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission approves of a W50 SF combination box-
type and channel set letter sign to replace the existing Janesville Road wall sign. I
be kept on file in the Building Department and that all aspect of this plan shall be maintained in perpetuity
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the sign plans are approved as submitted and a copy of said plans
unless otherwise authorized by the Plan Commission.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a landscape plan for the base of the monument sign must be
submitted for approval within thirty (30) days of the date of this approval.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That failure to comply with the approval contained in this resolution shall
result in the imposition of fines of $100 per day, the initiation of legal action, or both.
