RECOMMENDATION OF APPROVAL TO REZONE LOTS 1-7 AND OUTLOT 1 OF
PLUM CREEK EAST SUBDIVISION TO RSM I OPD, LOTS 8-22 AND LOTS 3740 OF 0 PLUM CREEK EAST TO RSA I OPD AND LOTS 23-36 AND OUTLOTS 2-3 OF PLUM
CREEK EAST SUBDIVISION TO RS-3 I OPD LOCATED IN SECTION 17
WHEREAS, The City of Muskego has approved a Final Plat of Plum Creek East, and
WHEREAS, The Plat is in conformance with the approved conceptual plans for the
Planned Development District of Plum Creek, and
WHEREAS, Said Plat has been granted OPD - Planned Development overlay Zoning,
and said zoning affords certain flexibility when applied to the underlying zoning district,
and
WHEREAS, the Plat has underlying zoning of RS-2 Suburban Residence District,
which allows single family lots of 18,000 square feet in area when within an OPD
District, and certain lots are used of multiple family purposes.
WHEREAS, The Plan Commission has determined that the Plat, as approved in
conformance with the adopted concept plans would require the underlying zoning to be
RSM Multiple Family Residence for Lots 1-7 and outlot 1, RSA Attached Single Family
Residence for Lots 8-22 and 37-40, and RS-3 Suburban Residence District for lots 23-
36 and outlots 2-3, and
WHEREAS, A Public Hearing for the rezoning has been scheduled before the Common
Council on March 13, 2001, and
WHEREAS, The City of Muskego 2010 Comprehensive Plan anticipates this specific
area being set aside for Planned Development District in conformance with the adopted
plans for Plum Creek East.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission does hereby recommend
approval to the Common Council for the rezoning of Lots 1-7 and outlot 1 to RSMlOPD
Multiple Family Residence with Planned Development Overlay District, Lots 8-22 and
37-40 to RSAlOPD Attached Single Family Residence with Planned Development
Overlay District, and lots 23-36 and outlots 2-3 to RS310PD Suburban Residence
District with Planned Development Overlay District.
