0 RECOMMENDATION TO COMMON COUNCIL TO APPROVE REZONING PARCEL 3 OF
CSM 8153 FROM RS-2 / OLR SUBURBAN RESIDENCE DISTRICT WITH LAKESHORE
RECREATION OVERLAY DISTRICT, TO RS-2 SUBURBAN RESIDENCE DISTRICT
LOCATED IN THE NVU ‘/4 OF SECTION 24
(BOXHORN DRIVE / TAX KEY NO. 2254.998.003)
WHEREAS, A petition for rezoning was submitted by Doug Freidrich to rezone the property
identified as Outlot 3 of CSM 8153, being Tax Key No. 2254.998.003, from RS-2 / OLR
Suburban Residence District with Lakeshore Recreation Overlay District to RS-2 Suburban
Residence District. and
WHEREAS, The purpose of the request is to permit the construction of a single family residence
without the hindrance of increased setbxks and offsets as required by the OLR Overlay District,
and
WHEREAS, A Public Hearing for the rezoning has been scheduled before the Common Council
on January 9,2001, and
WHEREAS, The 2010 Comprehensive Plan anticipates this specific area being set aside for
medium density residential mes and the proposal is consistent with the Plan
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED. That the Plan Commission does hereby recommend approval
to the Common Council for the rezoning of Outlot 3 of CSM 8153, being Tax Key No. 0 2254.998.003, from RS-2 ! OLR Suburbm Residence District with Lakeshore Recreation
Overlay District to RS-2 Suburban Residence Uistrict.
