APPROVAL OF A BUILDING SITE AND OPERATION PLAN FOR A COLOCATED
WIRELESS COMMUNICATIONS FACILITY FOR PRIMECO PERSONAL
COMMUNICATIONS LP DOING BUSINESS AS VERIZON WIRELESS, ON THE
SPRINT TOWER LOCATED ON THE ADDIS PROPERTY
(LOOMIS ROAD I TAX KEY NO. 2295.996)
WHEREAS, Plans were submitted 03 November 22, 2000 by Site Acquisition
Consultants representing Primeco Wireless for a building, site and operation plan for a
colocated wireless cc,mmunications facility on the Sprint tower at the Addis property
located on Loomis Road (Tax Key h;o. 2295.996), and
WHEREAS, The facility is propclsed to be located on an existing 200 foot tall
communications tower, and said colocations are permitted subject to Plan Commission
approval of a building, site, and operation plan, and
WHEREAS, Said property is ctirrently zoned A I OIP Agricultural District with
Institutional and Public Service Oc?rlay District, and the petition conforms to the bulk
requirements of the Di?trict, and
WHEREAS, Access to the site via sxisting driveways and there is no conflict with the
adopted 2010 Street Systen Plan.
WHEREAS, The public interest would be served by enhancing wireless
communications and emergency 91 .! capabilities, and
WHEREAS, A surety ia a form acceptable to the Finance Committee must be approved
prior to release of building permits and no information has been received to date, and
WHEREAS, A Develcpers Deposit in the amount of $2000.00 must be submitted prior
to release of building permits and no information has been received to date, and
THEREFORE BE IT IRESOLVED, That the Plan Commission approves of a building,
site and operation plan submitted November 22, 2000 by Site Acquisition Consultants
representing Primeco Wireless for ,? coloc3ted wireless communications facility on the
Sprint tower at the Addis proper:] lccated on Locmis Road (Tax Key No. 2295.996).
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That. this approvcl is subject to receipt of a developers
deposit and receipt and approval of a surety by the Finance Committee prior to release
of building permits.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, TPz! a COP\! of said plans be kept on file in the Building
Department and thet 311 aspects of this plan as thsy relate to landscape areas and
drainage shall be mziirtained in p??rpett;ity un!ess ctherwise authorized by the Plan
RESOLUTION #P.C. 219-2000
Commission.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That if occupancy is requested prior to the completion of
landscaping andlor asphalting, a bond, letter of credit or cashiers check equal to twice
the value of said costs must be subrnitted to the Planning Department.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That failure to comply with the approval contained in this
resolution shall result in the imposition of fines of $100 per day, the initiation of legal
action. or both.
