RECOMMENDATION TO COMMON COUNCIL TO ACQUIRE LANDS
LOCATED IN THE SW 114 OF SECTION 2 AND NE 1/4 SECTION 10
(MOORLAND ROAD EXTENSION)
WHEREAS, The Engineering Department has recommended that lands be
acquired for the extension of Moorland Road between Janesville Road and
Woods Road, and
WHEREAS, The Plan Commission has recommended the acquisition of adjacent
lands for community center purposes and the extension of Moorland Road
abutting said lands is required to serve the development.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission recommends the
acquisition of land generally located in the SW 114 of Section 2 and NW 114 of
Section 11 for the purpose of Moorland Road right of way.
