APPROVAL OF A 882 SQUARE FOOT ACCESSORY STRUCTURE FOR THE
CONNOLLY PROPERTy LOCATED AT W194 S6933 HILLENDALE DRIVE
(TAX KEY NO. 2180.988)
WHEREAS, A site plan and construction information was submitted by Jeff
Connolly to construct a 882 (28' x 31 5') square foot accessory structure at the
property located at W194 S6933 Hillendale Drive on September 8, 2000, and
WHEREAS, The property is zoned R-2, Country Home District, where said
structure is a permitted accessory use and subject to Plan Commission review
per Section 4.05 (2) C.1, and
WHEREAS, The total square footage for accessory structures is limited to 60%
of the livable first floor area and the property is allowed 882 square feet of total
square footage of accessory buildings, and no accessory structure currently
exists on the property, and the proposed structure is to be constructed with metal
penal siding and a steel panel roof, and
WHEREAS, Accessory structures are limited to 15' in overall height in the R-2
District, and the proposed structure meets this requirement, and
WHEREAS, The location of the structure maintains all necessary offsets and
setbacks, the architectural appearance would be compatible with the applicant's
surrounding area, and the petitioners do not propose the use of this nor any other
structure on the properly for business related activities.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Pian Commission approves of an
accessory structure not exceeding 882 square feet for the Connolly property at
W194 S6933 Hillendale Drive in accordance to Section 4.05 (1) B and 6.1 1 (2)
and that subject accessory structure not be used for the operation of a business
nor the storage of business related material or equipment.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That failure to comply with the terms of this
resolution and the approved site plans shall result in the issuance of fines of
$100 per day per violation, the initiation of legal action, or both.
