PCR2000151DEFERRED - NOT ADOPTED RESOLUTION #P.C. 151-2000 AMENDING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE DOWNTOWN DESIGN GUIDE WHEREAS, On December 3, 1996 the Plan Commission adopted a Downtown Design Guide to foster sound planning techniques for a unique part of the City of Muskego, generally being the properties adjacent to Janesville Road lying between Racine Avenue and Bay Lane, and WHEREAS, The Preliminary Plat for the Quietwood Creek Subdivision included a parcel of land adjacent to Janesville Road that has been approved in concept for commercial use, and WHEREAS, Plan Commission Resolution #PC120b-99, approving said plat, includes a requirement for the conceptually-approved commercial lands to follow the design requirements promoted by the Downtown Design Guide, and WHEREAS, The 2010 Comprehensive Plan, as approved by the Comprehensive Plan Committee on June 22, 2000 includes a recommendation that the residential land uses on Janesville Road, generally between Racine Avenue and Pioneer Drive, remain in residential use. THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission does hereby approve an amendment to the boundaries of the Downtown Desiqn Guide to include parcel 143 of Quietwood Creek Subdivision s depicted on the map attached hereto an made a part of this Resolution. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission does hereby approve an amendment to the boundaries of the Downtown Desiqn Guide to remove the lands west of Pioneer Drive and East of Racine Avenue which are not zoned commercial as of July 1, 2000, as depicted on the map attached hereto an made a part of this Resolution.
