CALLING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER THE ADOPTION OF TAX
INCREMENT DISTRICT 8 PROJECT PLAN
WHEREAS, City Officials have been working with property owners to redevelop certain
areas of Downtown Muskego, more particularly Parkland Mall, and
WHEREAS, On June 6, 2000 the Plan Commission approved a conceptual site plan for
such redevelopment, and
WHEREAS, Ehlers and Associates, Inc. has been retained as the City's financial
consultants regarding potential uses of Tax Increment Financing, and
WHEREAS, On June 9, 2000 Ehlers & Associated and the City of Muskego released a
proposed Project Plan which establishes boundaries of Tax Increment District #8, and
which identifies certain projects which may be eligible for Tax Increment Financing.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission places the Project Plan on
file in the office of the City Planner, W182 S8200 Racine Avenue, Muskego.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission shall hold a Public Hearing
on July 18, 2000 to consider the adoption.of the Project Plan which establishes
boundaries of Tax Increment District #8, and which identifies certain projects which
may be eligible for Tax Increment Financing.
