RESOLUTION WC. 114-2000
APPROVAL OF A TWO (2) LOT CERTIFIED SURVEY MAP FOR THE PETERS
PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE SW % OF SECTION 33
(TAX KEY NO. 2292.997 I MUSKEG0 DAM ROAD)
WHEREAS, On May 25,2000 a certified survey map was submitted by Orville Peters
for a two (2) lot land division of the Peters property located in the SW % of Section 33,
(Tax Key No. 2292.997 I Muskego Dam Road), and
WHEREAS, The proposed land division would create lots with a minimum area of 2.75
acres and an average minimum width of 300 feet, and
WHEREAS, Said property is zoned A - Agricultural District, requiring a minimum lot
size of 2.75 acres and an average minimum width of 300 feet, and parcels appear to
meet said minimum zoning requirements, and
WHEREAS, The adopted 2005 Comprehensive Plan depicts this area as being set
aside for agriculture and rural density residential development and this proposal is
within this goal, and
WHEREAS, The draft 2010 Comprehensive Plan depicts this area as being set aside
for agriculture and rural density residential development and this proposal is within this
goal, and
WHEREAS, The ultimate right-of-way required by the adopted 2010 Highway System
Plan has been previously dedicated, and
WHEREAS, Said parcels will be serviced by private sewer and private water, and
WHEREAS, Wetlands are present on the subject parcels and have been delineated ,
and
WHEREAS, A wetland crossing permit may be required from the Wisconsin DNR to
afford access to Parcel 2, and
WHEREAS, The approved locations of on-site sanitary systems are required to be
illustrated on the final certified survey map, and are not illustrated, and
WHEREAS, A grading plan will be required to be submitted for the lots created by the
final Certified Survey Map.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission recommends approval to
the Common Council of a Certified Survey Map for a two (2) lot land division of the
Peters property in the SW % of Section 33 subject to resolution of technical
discrepancies as identified by the City Planning Department and City Engineers, and
payment of all applicable fees in Section 18.14(3) of the Land Division Ordinance and
outstanding assessments if applicable.
THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That approval is granted subject to
obtaining a wetland crossing permit from the DNR if necessary, and subject to grading
plan approval by the City Engineer
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a DXF file of this CSM be submitted to the City
prior to City signatures being placed upon the CSM (342” diskette).
