0 RECOMMENDATION OF APPROVAL TO REZONE THE ADDIS
\PROPERTY FROM A, AGRICULTURAL, TO NOIP, AGRICULTURAL WITH
INSTITUTIONAL AND PUBLIC SERVICE OVERLAY DISTRICT
LOCATED IN THE SW X OF SECTION 34
(TAX KEY NO. 2295.996 I LOOMIS ROAD)
WHEREAS, On August 6, 1999 a petition for rezoning was submitted by WFI
Inc. to rezone the Addis property from A, Agricultural District to NOIP, Agricultural with
the Institutional and Public Service Overlay District, and
WHEREAS, The area to be rezoned would allow for construction of monopole
for a telecommunications facility which is permitted as a conditional use, and approved
by Resolution #PC 051-2000, and
WHEREAS, A Public Hearing for the rezoning has been scheduled before the
Common Council on April 25,2000, and
WHEREAS, The adjacent properties are zoned A, Agricultural to the north, A,
Agricultural, to the east and west, and EA, Exclusive Agricultural, to the south, and
WHEREAS, The City of Muskego Land Use Plan for the Year 2005 anticipates
this specific area being set aside for agricultural and rural uses and the proposal is in
keeping with the goals of the 2005 Land Use Plan.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission does hereby
recommend to the Common Council the rezoning of the Addis property from A,
Agricultural District, to NOIP, Agricultural with the Institutional and Public Service
Overlay District to allow for construction of monopole for a telecommunications facility.
