PCR2000070a RESOLUTION #P.C. 070-2000 RECOMMENDATION OF APPROVAL TO REZONE THE LOUGHNEY AND EXCLUSIVE AGRICULTURAL TO RCE COUNTRY ESTATE DISTRICT LOCATED IN THE SE % AND SW X OF SECTION 30 (TAX KEY NO. 2279,993,2280.996, AND 2290.999 / KELSEY DRIVE) SALENTINE ET AL. PROPERTIES FROM A -AGRICULTURE AND EA - WHEREAS, On February 25, 2000 a petition for rezoning was submitted by Messrs. John Loughney and Wayne Salentine to rezone property from A - Agricultural District and EA - Exclusive Agriculture District to RCE - Country Estate District, and WHEREAS, The total area to be rezoned would include approximately 60 acres to allow for single family residential development. and WHEREAS, The rezoning was a condition of sketch land division approvals granted by the Plan Commission, and WHEREAS, A Public Hearing for the rezoning has been scheduled before the Common Council on April 11,2000, and WHEREAS, The adjacent properties are zoned Agricultural and Exclusive Agricultural to the north, east, and west, and residential to the south, and WHEREAS, The City of Muskego Comprehensive Plan for the Year 2005, as e amended, anticipates this specific area being set aside for Country Estate residential land uses and the Commission finds this proposal is in keeping with the goals of the 2005 Comprehensive Plan. THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission does hereby recommend approval to the Common Council for the rezoning of approximately 60 acres from A - Agricultural and EA - Exclusive Agricultural to RCE Country Estate to allow for single family development.
