APPROVAL OF A 21’ X SO’ ACCESSORY STRUCTURE FOR
THE KESKE PROPERTY LOCATED AT W203 SI 0478 NORTH SHORE DRIVE
(TAX KEY NO. 2286.988)
WHEREAS, A site plan and construction information was submitted by Paul Keske to
construct a 21’ x 50’ (1,050 square foot) accessory structure at the property located at W203
S10478 North Shore Drive on February 24,2000, and
WHEREAS, The property is zoned Rs-2, Suburban Residence District, and where said
structure is a permitted accessory use and subject to Plan Commission review per Section 4.05 (2)
C.1, and
WHEREAS, The total square footage for accessory structures is limited to 60% of the
total first floor primary habitable area and the property is allowed 1,062 square feet of total
square footage of accessory buildings, and
WHEREAS, Three outbuildings currently exists on the parcel which will be razed to
accommodate this proposal, and
WHEREAS, The Open Space requirement for the property is maintained, and
WHEREAS, The location of the structure maintains all necessary offsets and setbacks, the
ultimate height is limited to 15 feet,
WHEREAS, The materials submitted are metal siding with a metal roof, with colors to be
smoke gray for the sides and trim, white doors, and a dark gray roof, and the petitioners do not
propose the use of this nor any other structure on the property for business related activities.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission approves of a compatible
size structure not exceeding 1,050 square feet for the Keske property at W203 Si0478 North
Shore Drive in accordance to Section 4.05 (I) B and 6.1 1 (2) and that subject accessory structure
not be used for the operation of a business nor the storage of business related material or
equipment.
I BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the structure’s proposed metal roof has been will.be
replaced with a roof which will incorporate asphalt shingles to better conform with the
surrounding residential neighborhood.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That failure to comply with the terms of this resolution
and the approved site plans shall result in the issuance of fines of $100 per day per violation, the 0 initiation of legal action, or both.
