RESOLUTION #P.C. 009-2000
APPROVAL OF ONE (1) WALL MOUNTED SIGN
FOR CHAR'S GOLD CROWN HALLMARK
AT THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT
W189 S7793 RACINE AVENUE
WHEREAS, Plans for one (I) wall mounted sign was submitted by Federal Sign for the
Char's Gold Crown Hallmark in the Muskego Centre property located at W189 S7793 Racine
Avenue on December 17, 1999, and
WHEREAS, The sign would be an internally illuminated, wall mounted sign, and the sign
would have a 42.2 square foot display area, and
WHEREAS, A Signage Specifications plan has been previously approved by the Plan
Commission for the Muskego Center, and
WHEREAS, The sign is to be constructed with a white plex face which conforms to the
Signage Specifications, and
WHEREAS, The sign is to be illuminated with a 15mm white neon tube where a 13mm e red neon tube is required, and
WHEREAS, The sign is to be constructed with a 36" high letter where a 30" maximum
letter size is permitted, and
WHEREAS, The sign is to be constructed with 0.040 aluminum returns where 0.050
aluminum returns are required.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission approve one (I) wall
mounted sign submitted by Federal Sign for the Char's Gold Crown Hallmark in the Muskego
Centre property located at W189 S7793 Racine Avenue on December 17, 1999.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the sign plans are approved as submitted and a
copy of said plans be kept on tile in the Building Department and that all aspect of this plan shall
be maintained in perpetuity unless otherwise authorized by the Plan Commission.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That failure to comply with the approval contained in a this resolution shall result in the imposition of fines of $100 per day, the initiation of legal action,
or both.
THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the sign is approved subject to
use of 13 mm red neon tubing in place of petitioner’s request for white illumination/tubing.
