PCR1999110RESOLUTION #P.C. 110-99 RECOMMENDATION OF CONTINUED APPROVAL, OF AN AMENDMENT TO THE OPD OF CHAMPIONS VILLAGE OF COUNTRY CLUB VILLAGES FOR A COMMUNITY MARKETING CENTER IN A MODEL HOME BY LAKESIDE HOMES, INC., FOR BURKE PROPERTIES WHEREAS, A request for a community marketing center in a model home was submitted by Lakeside Homes, Inc., to be located in Lot 10 ofthe Champions Village Subdivision, and WHEREAS, Champions Village Subdivision is part of the Country Club Villages Planned Development, and WHEREAS, Lakeside Homes, Inc., is the primary developer of the subdivision, and WHEREAS, The proposed Community Marketing Center is located in the garage of an existing model home and would have to meet all necessary building code requirements. WHEREAS, Only temporary occupancy is issued to the subject home until the marketing center is eliminated. and WHEREAS, The Plan Commission has determined by Resolution #PC 143-97 that the proposed amendment is not considered a substantial change to the OPD of Country Club Villages, e and WHEKEAS. The Common Council has determined bv Resolution #170-97 that the proposed amendment is not considered a substantial change to the OPD of Country Club Villages, and WHEREAS, The determinations made by Resolution #PC 143-97 and Resolution #170-97 are subject to review every two years, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That Plan Commission affirms its findings that the proposed marketing center in a model home located on Lot 10 of the Champions Village Subdivision constitutes a non-substantial change to the OPD of Country Club Villages and upon a concurrent finding by the Common Council, the proposed marketing center is hereby approved. THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission will review this issue every two years until such time as a model home will no longer be needed.
