APPROVAL OF A CONCEPTUAL AMENDMENT TO THE
PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT FOR
PHASE 11 OF OVERLOOK BAY IN THE SE 114 OF
SECTION 8 (TAX KEY NO. 2192.979)
WHEREAS, Plans for conceptual amendment to Overlook Bay Phase I1 were submitted
on August 20, 1999, by Gary Januszewski, and
WHEREAS, Gary Januszewski has provided the planning Department with supporting
documentation as evidence of the support of the current property owners to proceed with this
approval phase, and
WHEREAS, Said plans represent an amendment to the original approved master
development plan for the phase of the Lake Forest OPD known as Overlook Bay Phase 11, and
WHEREAS, The original master development plan for Overlook Bay Phase I1 illustrated
12 - eight unit multi-family buildings for a total of 96 units in Overlook Bay Phase I1 and a looped
private road pattern, and
WHEREAS, The amended plans for Overlook Bay Phase I1 illustrates six (6) eight-unit
multi-family buildings for a total of 48 units in Overlook Bay Phase I1 and a looped private road 0 pattern providing connection to the existing Overlook Bay development and direct access to
Racine Avenue, and
WHEREAS, an outlot along Racine Avenue has been proposed for a commercial site, and
is consistent with plans for the general vicinity, and
WHEREAS, Proper delineation of the wetland boundaries must occur by the Southeast
Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission recommends approval of
the conceptual amendment to Overlook Bay Phase I1 as submitted on August 20, 1999.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, The Plan Commission finds that amended plans
submitted do not represent a substantial change to the previously approved OPD and a public
hearing will not be required, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this approval is granted in concept only and final
action is only an indication of the current intent of the Plan Commission; Final submittals are
subject to future review and consideration by the Plan Commission, municipal committees of
jurisdiction, and other agencies, and approval of final plans is not guaranteed by this action of the
Plan Commission.
