PCR1999103RESOLUTION #P.C. 103-99 RECOMMENDATION OF APPROVAL TO REZONE THE LAIMON AND HENKEL PROPERTY FROM R-3 COUNTRY HOME DISTRICT TO Rs-2 SUBURBAN RESIDENCE DISTRICT LOCATED IN THE NE % OF SECTION 25 (TAXKEY NO. 2257.999 AND 2257.999.001) WHEREAS, In August I996 the Common Council adopted Ordinance No. 897, amending the zoning map in the vicinity of Loomis Road, Loomis Drive, North Cape Road, and Highway 45. and WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 897 originally included the rezoning of parcels known as Tax Key No. 2257.999 and 2257.999.001 from R-3 Country Home District to Rs-2 Suburban Residence District, but said ordinance was amended to delete references to said parcels with the purpose of allowing the subject property owners to petition for Rs-3 Suburban Residence District, and WHEREAS, subject property owners have not petitioned for said rezoning, and the Plan Commission is on record supporting Rs-2 Suburban Residence District zoning for the parcels, and WHEREAS, A Public Hearing for the rezoning has been scheduled before the Common Council on September 14, 1999, and WHEREAS, The City of Muskego Land Use Plan for the Year 2005 anticipates this specific area being set aside for residential uses at densities not exceeding three dwelling units per 0 acre, and said rezoning is in keeping with the goals of the 2005 land Use Plan. THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission does hereby recommend approval to the Common Council for the rezoning of parcels known as Tax Key No. 2257.999 and 2257.999.001 from R-3 Country Home District to Rs-2 Suburban Residence District.
