PCR1999077AMENDED RESOLUTION #P.C. 77-99 APPROVAL OF A BUILDING, SITE AND OPERATION PLAN FOR MUSKEGO MOOSE LODGE #lo57 AT THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT S86 W21693 JANESVILLE ROAD (TAX KEY NOS. 223 1.994 AND 223 1.995) WHEREAS, Plans were submitted by the Muskego Moose Lodge to place a 7,500 square foot multi-purpose facility at their existing site located at S86 W21693 Janesville Road on June 25, 1999, and WHEREAS, This facility will replace the present lodge and horseshoe house once completed, and WHEREAS, The parcel grounds are zoned B-2/0HS, Local Service Center with a Highway Service Overlay and the proposed use is a permitted use by right in the B-2 zoning district as a community service establishment commercial entertainment facility, and WHEREAS, A Conditional Use Grant must be obtained to accommodate the horseshoe pits and lighting, and WHEREAS, An accessory building measuring 26’ x 30’ (780 SF) is proposed to the south of the horseshoe pits, and the property is permitted 1,660 SF of outbuilding by Code, and 0 WHEREAS, A monument sign, to be located at the comer of Janesville and Crowbar Roads, with overall dimensions of 7’ X 7.33’, meeting all Code requirements, has been proposed. THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, The Plan Commission approves of a building, site and operation plan for the Muskego Moose Lodge, subject to a Public Hearing and conditional use grant for the operation of the illuminated horseshoe pits and subject to resolution of all engineering issues prior to a permit being issued for occupancy, and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That Tax Key Number 223 1.994 be combined with Tax Key Number 223 1.995, and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the existing structure is permitted to remain in use during construction of the new facility, and that phased development of the parking area is permitted in order to accommodate said use, and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the existing structures be removed and all parking and landscaping areas be brought into compliance with the approved site plan within 180 days of occupancy permit issuance for the 7,500 square foot building, and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a copy of said plans be kept on file in the Building 0 Department and that all aspect of this plan as they relate to landscape areas and drainage shall be 0 maintained in perpetuity unless otherwise authorized by the Plan Commission. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That failure to comply with the approval contained in this resolution shall result in the imposition of fines of $100 per day, the initiation of legal action, or both. THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That approval of Building, Site and Operation granted upon City Engineer’s approval of grading and storm water management plans; building canopy clearance will be 10.5 feet; landscaping meeting minimum City standards; petitioner establishing a developer’s deposit prior to building permits being issued.
