PCR1999001*CORRECTED TWICE AMENDED RECo"ENDAT10N OF APPROVAL TO REZONE THE SANTI PROPERTY FROM RS-2 SUBURBAN RESIDENCE TO 1-1 INDUSTRIAL PARK LOCATED IN THE SE % OF SECTION 17(TAX KEY NO. 2228.999.01 1) WEST OF S84 W 19247-49 ENTERPRISE DRIVE RESOLUTION #P.C. 01-99 WHEREAS, On December 8, 1998, a petition for rezoning was submitted by Michael J. Nevins for Peter Santi to rezone 3.13 1 acres of property from RS-2 Suburban Residence District to 1-1 Industrial Park District, and WHEREAS, The act of rezoning would allow those industrial uses and facilities which are permitted within the 1-1 Industrial Park District, and WHEREAS, A Public Hearing for the rezoning has been scheduled before the Common Council on January 12, 1999, and WHEREAS, The adjacent properties are zoned 1-1 Industrial Park to the north and east, RS-2 Suburban Residence to the south, and RS-2/0PD Suburban Residence with a Planned Unit Development Overlay to the west, and WHEREAS, While the City of Muskego Land Use Plan for the Year 2005 identifies the subject parcel as being retained as residential lands, the same plan encourages the development of new industrial lands and the attraction of new industry, and subject lands being adjacent and contiguous to the existing Muskego Industrial Park appear to be an appropriate extension of the existing 1-1 Industrial Park District. THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission does hereby recommend approval to the Common Council for the rezoning of approximately 3.13 1 acres of property from RS-2 Suburban Residence District to 1-1 Industrial Park District located in the SE % of Section 17 (Tax Key No. 2228.999.01 1) west of S84 W19247-49 Enterprise Drive. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission finds that the proposed rezoning is supported by the 2005 Comprehensive Land Use Plan's stated goals, represents a minor change to said land use plan, and subject lands being adjacent and contiguous to the existing Muskego Industrial Park appear to be an appropriate extension of the existing 1-1 Industrial Park District.
