PCR1998196RESOLUTION #P.C. 196-98 RECOMMENDATION OF APPROVAL TO REZONE THE DUVE PROPERTY FROM EA. EXCLUSIVE AGRICULTURAL TO R-1 COUNTRY HOME DISTRICT LOCATED IN THE NW Vi OF SECTION 33 (TAX KEY NO. 2290.995.002 OR W187 S10610 KELSEY DRIVE) WHEREAS, On November 6, I998 a petition for rezoning was submitted by Melvin Duve to rezone the Duve property from A, Agricultural District to R-1 Country Home District, and WHEREAS, The total area to be rezoned would include approximately 19 acres to allow for single family residence development, and WHEREAS, The rezoning was a condition of approval by the Plan Commission under Resolution #P.C. 88-98, on May 5, 1998, and WHEREAS, A Public Hearing for the rezoning has been scheduled before the Common Council on December 8, 1998, and WHEREAS, The adjacent properties are zoned R-1 Country Home to the north, EA Exclusive Agricultural to the east and west, and A Agricultural to the south, and WHEREAS, The City of Muskego Land Use Plan for the Year 2005 anticipates this specific area being set aside for Agricultural and rural uses and the Commission found that the proposed densities as represented by the sketch land division as approved by Resolution #P.C. 88- 98 were in keeping with the goals of the 2005 land Use Plan. THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission does hereby recommend approval to the Common Council for the rezoning of approximately 19 acres from EA Exclusive Agricultural to R-1 Country Home to allow for single family development as indicated by Resolution #P.C. 88-98.
