PCR1998152MNDED AND CORRECTED RESOLUTION #P.C. 152-98 AF'PROVAL TO MAINTAIN A 20' X 22' ACCESSORY STRUCTURE FOR THE REISE PROPERTY LOCATED AT W 151 S6332 GLENBROOK DRIVE WHEREAS, A site plan and construction information was submitted on August 25, 1998, by Kevin Reise to build an attached garage to a parcel with and existing accessory building, and WHEREAS, The petitioner would like to maintain a 20' X 22' (440 square foot) accessory structure at the Reise property located at W151 S6322 Glenbrook Drive, and WHEREAS, The property is zoned RS-I, Suburban Residence District, and where said structure is a permitted accessory use and is now considered a second garage structure subject to Plan Commission review per Section 4.05 (2) C.l, and WHEREAS, The total square footage for accessory structures is limited to 60.0% of the total first floor habitable area, and the residence contains a first floor area of 1,177 square feet which would allow 706 square feet of accessory buildings, and WHEREAS, There are (3) outbuildings existing on the parcel totaling 656 square feet, and WHEREAS, The location of the structure maintains all necessary offsets and setbacks, the ultimate height is limited to 15 feet, the architectural appearance would be compatible with the applicant's surrounding area, and the materials submitted do not propose the use of this nor any other structure on the property for business related activities. THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission approves of no more than 706 square feet of accessory buildings for the Reise property at W151 S6332 Glenbrook Drive in accordance to Section 4.05 (1) B and 6.11 (2) and that subject accessory structure not be used for the operation of a business nor the storage of business related material or equipment. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That failure to comply with the terms of this resolution and the approved site plans shall result in the issuance of fines of $100 per day per violation, the initiation of legal action, or both.
