RECOMMENDATION OF APPROVAL TO RELEASE PARCEL 3 OF CERTIFIED
SURVEY MAP 6072 FROM THE AMENDENT OF THE 100 YEAR FLOODPLAIN
OF ON THE MUSKEG0 CANAL

WHEREAS, A request has been filed by Wayne Salentine, agent for Jill Salentine
being owner of Parcel 3 of Certified Survey Map No. 6072 (Tax Key No. 2221.991.004)
to release said parcel from the procedures which have encumbered said parcel for a
number of years, and !
WHEREAS, Said encumbrance exists due to the lack of closurdfinalization
regarding the Muskego Canal 100 year floodplain mapping, and
WREAS, The finalization of said mapping has been delayed numerous times
and most recently due to awaiting flood proofing of certain properties by certain property
owner, and
WHEREAS, The subject parcel is not in need of flood proofing to provide ample
buildable area if appropriate fill is placed on said parcel in appropriate areas not illustrated
as being in the 100 year flood plain of the Muskego Canal 100 Year Floodplain mapping.
e THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission recommends to the
Common Council that parcel Parcel 3 of Certified Survey Map No. 6072 (Tax Key No.
2221.991.004) be released from the Muskego Canal 100 Year Floodplain Mapping group
petition and be considered on an individual basis.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That such a release does not invalidate the formal
findings of the group analysis but does encumber subject parcel to the extent illustrated by
the Muskego Canal 100 Year Floodplain analysis and all its technical findings.
