APPROVAL OF TEMPORARY SIGNS AND STAND FOR SALE OF
FIREWORKS FOR HEATHER MUENTE-SEGEL OF US SALES SPECIALISTS
AT THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT S95 W 12575 LOOMIS ROAD
(SOUTHEAST CORNER OF SH 36 AND USH 45)
WHEREAS, A request has been submitted by Vince Siege1 of US Sales and Specialists, to
locate a temporary sales tent and signs advertising the sale of fireworks on the parcel grounds of
the vacant property located in the southeast comer of USH 45, SH 36 and North Cape Road, and
WHEREAS, One 20’ x 20’ tent will be located at the southeast comer of SH 36 (Loomis
Road) and USH 45 (North Cape Road) and contain two (2), 2’ x 8’ overhead banner signs on
both street sides, and
WHEREAS, Fireworks sales were operated at this location last year, and
WHEREAS, The dates and the hours of operation will be:
-June 20th through July 5“, 1998 from 9:OO a.m. until 9:OO p.m.
WHEREAS, The Plan Commission has approved for this lot to be the storage parking e area for U-Haul vehicles for the Erdman Motor Company.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission approve the request for
temporary signs and stand at the southeast comer of SH 36 and USH 45 for fireworks sales for
Heather Muente-Siege1 of US Sales Specialists., subject to the above conditions.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That an electrical permit and inspection will be required
by the Building Inspection Department for any electricity hookup and appropriate sanitary
facilities be provided.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That all U-Haul vehicles be stored on Erdman’s property
during the fireworks sales from June 20 through July 5, 1998.
