PCR1998065RESOLUTION #P.C. 065-98 APPROVAL OF AN IDENTIFICATION SIGN FOR MUSKEGO-NORWAY SCHOOLS, AT THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT W 147 S6800 DURHAM DRIVE (TESS CORNERS ELEMENTRY) WHEREAS, Plans for an identification sign by Muskego-Noway Schools, was submitted for the Tess Comers Elementary on W147 S6800 Durham Drive on April 23, 1998, and WHEREAS, The identification sign would be a two (2) sided, 36 square feet and would be internally illuminated, with a reader board taking roughly two-thirds of the total sign area, and WHEREAS, Reader boards are exempt from the 25% size if proposed for theaters, churches, schools and government (17:6,09(3)(q)), and WHEREAS, The property is zoned RS-3/0IP, Suburban Residential District with an Institutional and Public Service Overlay and said signage conforms with the requirements of Section 6.09 of the Zoning Ordinance and requires Plan Commission approval prior to the issuance of a building and zoning permit. THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission approve of an identification sign with two (2) sides, 36 square feet and would be internally illuminated, with a reader board roughly two-thirds of the total sign area along Janesville Road, for Muskego- Norway Schools at the property located at W147 S6800 Durham Drive. e BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the sign plans are approved as submitted and a copy of said plans be kept on file in the Building Department and that all aspect of this shall be maintained in perpetuity unless otherwise authorized by the Plan Commission. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That failure to comply with the approval contained in this resolution shall result in the imposition of fines of $100 per day, the initiation of legal action, or both.
