PCR1998056RESOLUTION #P.C. 56-98 APPROVAL OF A CONCEPTUAL BUILDING, SITE AND OPERATION PLAN FOR A LIBRARY FOR THE CITY OF MUSKEGO AT THE PROPERTY LOCATED PJ THE NW 'A OF SECTION IO (NEAR THE INTERSECTION OF JANESVILLE ROAD AND PARKLAND DRIVE) WHEREAS, Plans for a public library for the City of Muskego was submitted by the Durrant Group, Inc., at the property located along Janesville Road, between Parkland Drive and Bellview Drive, and WHEREAS, The City has purchased said lands for the location of a library, and WHEREAS, Said property is zoned 8-2, Local Service Center, and said use is not a permitted use, however, would be permitted subject to the rezoning of the property to B-2/0E', Local Service Center with an Institutional and Public Service Overlay, and WHEREAS, The proposed library would be a 6.25 acre site with a 39,300 square feet building, and WHEREAS, Development of the subject lands must be conducted in keeping with the standards expressed in the Downtown Design Guide, and WHEREAS, The conceptual plans submitted appear to meet the standards expressed in the Downtown Design Guide. THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission approves of the conceptual building, site and operation pian submitted (received April 13, 1998) by the Durrant Group, Inc., for a public library for the City of Muskego the property located along Janesville Road, between Parkland Drive and Bellview Drive subject to the rezoning of the property from B-2 to B-2/0IP Plan Commission City of Muskego Approved 04-21-98 Denied Deferred 04-1 6-98 I
