PCR1998012a RESOLUTION P.C. 12-98 RECOMMENDATlON OF APPROVAL TO REZONE A PORTION OF THE DUVE PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE NW % OF SECTION 33, FROM EA, EXCLUSIVE (TAX KEY NO. 2290.995) AGRICULTURAL. TO R-1 , COUNTRY HOME WHEREAS, Melvin Duve has requested to rezone one (1) parcel totaling 5.5 acres from EA, Exclusive Agricultural to R-I, County Home, to accommodate a two (2) lot land division, and WHEREAS, The request for rezoning was a condition of approval for Resolution #P.C. 221-97, in which a sketch land division for two (2) lots was approved on November 18, 1997, and WHEREAS, The properties to the south, east and west are zoned EA and A and maintain a rural land use of agricultural and single family homes in excess of 2.75 acres and the properties to the north are zoned R-l and maintain a single family land use on parcels ranging in excess of 60,000 square feet, and WHEREAS, The City of Muskego Land Use Plan for the Year 2005 anticipates this area to maintain an agricultural and rural character and the proposed lots will be well within the recommended two to five acre minimum encouraged by the Comprehensive Plan with the R-1 zoning, and e WHEREAS, A Public Hearing has been scheduled before the Common Council on February 24, 1998 and properties within 300 feet of said parcel have been properly identified. THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, The Plan Commission does hereby recommend approval to the Common Council for the rezoning of approximately 5.5 acres located in the NW '/4 of Section 33 from EA, Exclusive Agricultural to R-I, Country Home.
