APPROVAL OF AMENDMENT TO A BUILDING, SITE AND OPERATION PLAN FOR
THE CITY OF MUSKEG0 POLICE STATION PROPERTY LOCATED AT
W183 S8150 RACINE AVENUE
WHEREAS, Plans were submitted to expand the existing building, site and operation plan
of the City of Muskego Police Station property at W183 S8150 Racine Avenue by Durrant
Architects on January 22, 1998, and
WHEREAS, The property is zoned RS-2/0IP, Suburban Residential with an Institutional
and Public Service District Overlay, and the existing operation conforms to all the requirements of
said zoning district, and
WHEREAS, The existing building totals 4,800 square feet, and
WHEREAS, The proposed plans show an expansion of outdoor parking facilities, the
addition upper office space to the north and west, basement meeting and exercise areas to the
west, the addition of an indoor parking garage to the north of the existing building, with a final
total of 15,500 square feet.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission approves of an amended
building, site and operation plan for the expansion of the City of Muskego Police Department at 0 the property located at W183 S8150 Racine Avenue, for Durrant Architects.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a copy of said plans be kept on file in the Building
Department and that all aspect of this plan as they relate to landscape areas, building facades, and
drainage shall be maintained in perpetuity unless otherwise authorized by the Plan Commission.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That failure to comply with the approval contained in
this resolution shall result in the imposition of fines of $100 per day, the initiation of legal action,
or both.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That approval is subject to submittal of grading,
landscaping and lighting plans. Along with the addition of glass windows on west elevation of
garage.
