APPROVAL OF AN AMENDMENT TO THE APPROVED SIGNAGE PLAN
FOR THE MUSKEGO REGENCY LOCATED AT THE NORTHEAST
CORNER OF WOODS ROAD AND RACINE AVENUE
WHEREAS, Plans for identification signs and directionaVoperation signs were approved
by the Plan Commission through Resolution WC. 71-97, and
WHEREAS, On November 19, 1997 submittals were received which indicate that the
main sign at the Racine Avenue entrance is proposed to be installed on top of the berm resulting
in an effective height of over 21 feet (Ordinance height limitation is 20 feet), and
WHEREAS, The previously approved plans indicated that the subject sign was not to be
located on top of the berm and that its effective height was not to exceed 13 feet.
WREAS, The property is zoned RSMIOPDIOIP and contains a conditional use and all
signage is subject to Plan Commission approval.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission approves of the
amendment to the approved signage plan as presented in the material tiled with the Planning
Department on November 19, 1997
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the sign plans are approved as submitted and a
copy of said plans be kept on file in the Building Department and that all aspect of this shall be
maintained in perpetuity unless otherwise authorized by the Plan Commission.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That failure to comply with the approval contained in
this resolution shall result in the imposition of fines of $100 per day, the initiation of legal action,
or both.
