RECOMMENDATION OF APPROVAL
OF THE AMEhQED MUSKEG0 SEWER SERVICE AREA
(Public Utilities Committee)
WHEREAS, The City of Muskego has been working since September of 1996, through
the Muskego Public Utilities Committee and the Southeastern Wisconsin Regional Planning
Commission(SEWRF'C) to study areas which may be feasible to add to the Muskego Sewer
Service Area Map, and
WHEREAS, The existing map was adopted in 1986 with subsequent changes made to
address areas in the SE portion of the City, and
WHEREAS, It is now proposed to add areas as illustrated on the attached Exhibit "A",
and
WHEREAS, A public hearing before the Common Council has been set for November 11,
1997, consideration of the plan by the SEWC Planning and Research Committee on November
25, 1997, and possible final adoption by SEWC on December 3, 1997
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission recommends
0 approval of the amended Muskego Sewer Service Area Map as illustrated on Edubit A.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That only the area that school district oms,
adjacent to the high school, should be included in the sewer district. All other areas south of
Woods Road should be deleted from map.
