APPROVAL TO AMEND A BUILDING, SITE AND OPERATION PLAN FOR
A.G. INDUSTRLES, INC., LOCATED AT
S84 W18887 ENTERPRISE DRIVE
RESOLUTION #P.C. 215-97
WHEREAS, Plans for a 40 square foot ground monument sign have been submitted by
Poblocki & Sons, Inc., for the property located at S84 W18887 Enterprise Drive, and
WHEREAS, Dave Mick of A.G. Industries, Inc., has requested to amend the landscape
plan for said property to allow for a reduction in the diameter of the trees to be located in the
front of the building, and
WHEREAS, This property is zoned 1-1, Industrial Park and said amendments require Plan
Commission approval under a Building, Site and Operation Plan, and
WHEREAS, Section 6.09 of the Zoning Ordinance permits a maximum of 40 square feet
for a ground sign subject to substantial landscape base area, and in which no landscape plan for
said signage has been submitted,
WHEREAS, The original Building, Site and Operation Plan under Resolution #P.C. 143-
e 96, was amended to include the following:
.all trees must measure four (4) inches in diameter and approximately twelve (12) feet in height.
WHEREAS, The petitioner has requested to reduce the four (4) inch diameter
requirement to three (3) inches.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission approves of an Amended
Building, Site and Operation Plan for the property located at S84 W 18887 Enterprise Drive for a
40 square foot ground sign subject to submittal of a landscape plan showing a substantial
landscape base area as defined in Section 6.09 (1) (v) and an amendment to the landscape plan to
allow for a reduction in the diameter of all trees from four (4) inches to three (3) inches in
diameter
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a copy of said plans be kept on file in the Building
Department and that all aspect of this plan shall be maintained in perpetuity unless otherwise
authorized by the Plan Commission.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That failure to comply with the approval contained in
this resolution shall result in the imposition of fines of $100 per day, the initiation of legal action,
or both.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That StafF will review and approve sign landscaping @ plan. Additional landscaping will be placed along front of the building with existing Crimson King
trees following Staff approval or existing Crimson King trees will be replaced in the Spring of
1998 with three (3) inch diameter trees.
