APPROVAL OF A BUILDING, SITE AND OPERATION PLAN FOR
DEL SLEVERT TRUCKING, INC., AT THE PROPERTY LOCATED
WEST OF THE INTERSECTIONS OF CROWBAR AND JANESVILLE ROADS
WHEREAS, A site and layout plan, sign plan and a written description, were submitted to
the Plan Department for Del Sievert Trucking, Inc., on September 5, 1997, for a distribution and
maintenance center for a top soil, stone and sand company at the property located west of
Crowbar and Janesville Road on the Payne and Dolan Grounds, and
WHEREAS, It has been indicated that the property will be leased from Payne and Doh,
and
WHEREAS, The plans indicate a fenced in facility with outdoor storage bins, a materials
stock pile, an outdoor parking and vehicle maintenance storage area and an office trailer, and
mREAS, No indication has been submitted in regards to the type of fencing and
screening, and
I WHEREAS, This site will serve primarily as a distribution and maintenance and storage
facility for Del Sievert Trucking, Inc., however, it will be open for public sales, and
0 and Saturdays 6:45 am to 1 :00 pm, and will be closed on Sundays and holidays, and
WHEREAS, The hours of operation included Monday thru Friday, 6:45 am to 5:OO pm,
WHEREAS, The property is zoned 1-2, General Industrial and said use is a permitted use
by right.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission approves of the building,
site and operation plan submitted (received September 5, 1997) for Del Sievert Trucking, Inc.,
that a copy of said plans be kept on file in the Building Department and that all aspect of this plan
as they relate to landscape areas and drainage shall be maintained in perpetuity unless otherwise
authorized by the Plan Commission.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That if occupancy is requested prior to the completion of
landscaping and/or asphalting, a bond, letter of credit or cashiers check equal to twice the value of
said costs must be submitted to the Planning Department,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That failure to comply with the approval contained in
this resolution shall result in the imposition of fines of $100 per day, the initiation of legal action,
or both.
