APPROVAL OF DIRECTIONAL SIGNAGE FOR ST LEONARDS CATHOLIC CHURCH
AT THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT S75 Wl7301-17351 JANESVILLE ROAD
WHEREAS, An application and information for replacing the existing directional sign for
St. Leonards Catholic Church was submitted on September 22, 1997, and
WHEREAS, The proposed sign is to be located at the shopping center property addressed
as S75 W17301-17351 Janesville Road, and
WHEREAS, The existing sign is within the C.T.H. ‘L’ road right-of-way, and
WHEREAS, The sign is a 2’ x 3’ wooden monument pound sign, seven feet in height
with a railroad tie base filled with wood mulch, and
WHEREAS, Off premise directional signage is permitted subject to being no more than 12
I square feet and approved by the Planning Commission per Section 6.09 (8) (b) (2) of the Zoning
Code. 1 THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission recommends approval of a
e 2’ x 3’ wooden monument ground sign, seven feet in height to be located within the C.T.H. ‘L’
right-of-way subject to a letter ofapproval ofboth the property owner of S75 W17301-17351
Janesville Road and Waukesha County and a hold harmless clause submitted to the Planning
Department.
