PCR1997169AMENDED RECOMMENDATION OF FOR REZONING THE PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE SW 9'4 DENNIS AND JANET FOSMORE RESOLUTION #P.C. 169-97 OF SECTION 8, FROM R-I, COUNTRY HOME TO RS-I, SUBURBAN RESIDENCE FOR WHEREAS, A Certified Survey Map was submitted on July 18, 1997, for a two lot land division for the property located in the SW Vi of Section 8, addressed as S75 W20300 Hillendale Drive, and WHEREAS, A two lot land division sketch was approved by the Plan Commission under Resolution #P.C. 28-97, on February 18, 1997, subject to the rezoning of the property from R-I, Country Home to RS-1, Suburban Residence, and WHEREAS, The petitioner submitted an application for rezoning on August 5, 1997, and WHEREAS, The current residence on this property has City sewered service, however, the property is located outside the established sewer service boundary, and WHEREAS, The adjacent properties to the east are zoned R-I, and the properties immediately south across Hillendale and the properties west are zoned RS-1, Suburban Residence and the properties to the north are zoned R-1 and RCE, Residential Country Estate, and WHEREAS, The City of Muskego Land Use Plan for the Year 2005 anticipates this area to maintain a medium residential density character and the proposed lots will be well within the recommended 1 to 113 acre minimum encouraged by the Comprehensive Plan, and WHEREAS, A Public Hearing before the Common Council has been scheduled for September 9, 1997, and properties within 300 feet of said parcel have been properly notified. THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, The Plan Commission does hereby recommend approval to the Common Council for the rezoning of approximately 3 acres located in the SE Vi of Section 8, from R-1,Country Home to RS-1, Suburban Residence. That approval for rezoning is contingent upon MMSD (Ulwaukee Metropolitan Sewer District) approval of sewer service are minor amendment.
