CONCEPTUAL REVIEW OF A REQUEST TO VACATE EASTERN MOST
RIGHT-OF-WAY ON LARKSPUR ROAD BY DAVE SCHUMACHER
RESOLUTION #P.C. 166-97
WHEREAS, As a request to vacate the eastern most portion of Larkspur Road has been
submitted by Dave Schumacher was submitted on August 12, 1997, and
WHEREAS, The portion of Larkspur Road to be vacated is located in the SE % of
Section 1, and
WHEREAS, The original plans for this area of Larkspur Road called to intersect the road
with 124" Street and connect it tot he Larkspur Road on the western edge of the City of Franklin,
and
WHEREAS, The area for 124' Street has been vacated, however, a connection for
Larkspur Road is still reserved, both in the City of Franklin and the City of Muskego, and
WHEREAS, Vacating the road right-of-way in Muskego would create a non-conforming
lot in the City of Franklin, and
WHEREAS, The continuation of Larkspur Road into Franklin is anticipated by the
adopted City of Muskego 2010 Street and Highway System Plan Map.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission approves of the conceptual
review of a request to vacate the eastern most right-of-way of Larkspur Road citing the
nonsubstantial change this request represents in relation to the Adopted City of Muskego 2010
Street and Highway System Plan Map.
