RECOMMENDATION OF APPROVAL TO AMENDMENT THE OPD OF
CHAMPIONS VILLAGE ADDITION NO. 1 OF COUNTRY CLUB VILLAGES FOR
AN OUTDOOR RECREATIONAL FACILITY BY
LAKESIDE HOMES, INC. BURKE PROPERTIES
WHEREAS, A request for an outdoor recreational facility was submitted by Lakeside
Homes, Inc., to be located in Lot 102 of the Champions Village Addition. No. 1 Subdivision, and
WHEREAS, Champions Village Addition No. 1 Subdivision is part of the Country Club
Villages Planned Development with Lakeside Homes acting as the primary developer and
marketing agent for Burke Properties, and
WHEREAS, Lot 102 is the location of the second well site to serve the development and
a site plan has been submitted for said Lot 102 illustrating the location of the Tot Lot Structure
and pump house, and
WHEREAS, The Plan Commission must determine if the proposed amendment is
considered a substantial or non-substantial change to the OPD of Country Club Villages.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, The Plan Commission recommends to the Common
Council that the proposed outdoor recreational facility represents a non-substantial change to the
OPD of Country Club Villages and upon a concurrent finding by the Common Council, the
proposed outdoor recreational facility for Lot 102 of Champions Village of Country Club Villages
IS hereby approved. e.
