APPROVAL OF AN AMENDMENT TO A BUILDING, SITE AND OPERATION
PLAN FOR TENANT SIGNAGE FOR THE SCHRIEB PROPERTY LOCATED AT
W144 S6303 COLLEGE COURT
WHEREAS, Plans were submitted to revise approved signage by Stenson Builders, Inc.,
at the property located at W144.56303 College Court, and
WHEREAS, The Plan Commission approved of an amended building, site and operation
plan for Bernard and Nancy Schreib for an expansion to an existing multi-tenant building located
at W144 S6301-33 College Court on April 18, 1996, through Amended Resolution #P.C. 66-96,
and
WHEREAS, A comprehensive sign package was submitted by the Schreibs and approved
by the Plan Commission under said resolution that specified that signage was limited to bronze
lettering on white background, and
WHEREAS, Said sign package was amended under Resolution #P.C. 125-97, to allow for
revised letter coloring consisting of navy blue and yellow on a white background, and
WHEREAS, Stenson Builders, Inc., the comer tenant, has an existing 72 square foot
illuminated sign with a blue background, and white and yellow lettering, including a logo and
would like to relocate the sign to their new location, and
WHEREAS, Per the Sign Ordinance of the Zoning Code, only a maximum of 58.4 square 0 feet will be permitted.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission approves of the amended
building, site and operation plan for tenant signage at the property located at W144 S6303
College Court to allow for a maximum 58.4 square foot personalized illumimated as depicted on
the plans submitted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a signed letter from the property owners must be
submitted to the Plan Department indicating approval of the revised signage.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That failure to comply with the terms of this approvd
shall result in the imposition of fines of $100 per day, the initiation of legal action, or both.
