APPROVAL OF TEMPORARY AMENDMENT TO A BUILDING, SITE
AND OPERATlON PLAN FOR AMANN’S BEACH CLUB AT THE PROPERTY
LOCATED AT S 110 W20770 S. DENOON ROAD
WHEREAS, Plans for a temporary amendment to the building, site and operation plan for
ham’s Beach Club were submitted by Tom Amann on May 28, 1997, and
WHEREAS, Plans show the site being used as a temporary camping spot for Harley-
Davidson clientele, associated with next year’s planned Harley Festival, and
WHEREAS, The site pian shows the proposed layout for RV parking, camping area, service
facilities and security area, and
WHEREAS, No information is included in terms of the amount of guest staying at the
facility, number of days, hours of operation, security services and neighborhood concerns.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission approves the temporary
amendment of the building, site and operation plan for Amann’s Beach.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That there will be accommodations for 42 mobile homes
and 54 tents on the grounds. A formal security plan will be placed on file along with written
approval from neighbors in the area. These documents will be submitted to the Planning Department
within thirty (30) days from July 1, 1997
