APPROVAL OF CONDITIONAL USE GRANT FOR A TWO FAMILY RESIDENCE
FOR MANLYN BEDNARSKI FOR THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT
W140 S9127 BOXHORNDRIVE
(MOTHER-IN-LAW UNIT)
WHEREAS, A plumbing connection was requested by the property owner to connect up to
the new sewer service along Boxhorn Drive, and said connection request was placed on hold as the
connection would accommodate an existing two-family residence (Mother-In-Law Unit), and a
permit would not be issued until the owner applied and was approved for a conditional use, and
WHEREAS, Building plans were submitted to the Planning Department by Marilyn
Bednarski to permit a single family residence and a mother-in-law unit at W140 S9127 Boxhorn
Drive, and
WHEREAS, The building plans depict that the mother-in-law unit is located upstairs and
consist of a combined front and side entry, kitchen, bath, and two bedrooms totaling 768 square feet,
and
WHEREAS, The City's zoning ordinance permits this type of use as a Conditional Use in a
residentially zoned district upon the approval of the Plan Commission, and
WHEREAS, The regulations provide that the architectural character of the residence remain
single family in appearance and that the second unit does not exceed 800 square feet of the
residential floor area and that one person in each unit be related to a person in the other unit by
blood, marriage or adoption, and
WHEREAS, A public hearing has been held in conformance with Section 17:3.07 of the
City's Code of Ordinances, and owners of property within 300 feet of this property have been
notified of the public hearing.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission of the City of Muskego
approve the request of Marilyn Bednarski for a single family residence and a mother-in-law unit at
W140 S9127 Boxhorn Drive and that the approval be subject to the conditions of Section 17:8.01
(7) C, 10 of the City's Code of Ordinances.
