PCR1997125AMENDED APPROVAL OF AN AMENDMENT TO A BUILDING, SITE AND OPERATION PLAN FOR TENANT SIGNAGE FOR THE SCHRIEB PROPERTY LOCATED AT W 144 S63 15 COLLEGE COURT T RESOLUTION #P.C. 125-97 WHEREAS, Plans were submitted to revise approved signage by Paul Good, agent for US Filter/Wheelabrator, at the property located at W144 S6315 College Court, and WHEREAS, The Plan Commission approved of an amended building, site and operation plan for Bernard and Nancy Schreib for an expansion to an existing multi-tenant building located at W144 S6301-33 College Court on April 18, 1996, through Amended Resolution #P.C. 66-96, and WHEREAS, A comprehensive sign package was submitted by the Schreibs and approved by the Plan Commission under said resolution, and WHEREAS, All tenant signs were to include 3’ x 8’ rectangular wall signs with curved edges and consist of bronze lettering on a white background, and WHEREAS, In response to a violation letter in regards to non-permitted signage and discussion with Planning Staff, said tenant is seeking to amend the approved building, site an operation plan to allow for individualized signage consistent with existing corporate logos, and e WHEREAS, The existing sign consist of a 2.5’ x 8’ non-illuminated wall sign with blue lettering representing the owner’s corporate logo, and WHEREAS, Other tenants in the facility have expressed interest in permitting personalized signage. THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission approves of the amended building, site and operation plan for tenant signage at the property located at W144 S6301-33 College Court. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That all signage must remain consistent in size (2.5’ x 8’) and shape. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a signed letter from the property owners must be submitted to the Plan Department indicating approval of the revised signage. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That failure to comply with the terms of this approval shall result in the imposition of fines of $100 per day, the initiation of legal action, or both. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That signage will be allowed to have three (3) colors 0 consisting of navy blue and yellow on a white background.
