PCR1997115AMENDED RESOLUTION #P.C. 115-97 APPROVAL OF A BUILDING, SITE AND OPERATION PLAN FOR A FIRE ARMS TRAINING RANGE FOR THE CITY OF MUSKEG0 AT THE PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE NE 1/4 OF SECTION 36 WHEREAS, Upon recommendation of the Plan Commission, the Common Council approved of a rezoning for the property located in the NE 1/4 of Section 36 to A/OP, Agriculture with an Institutional and Public Service Overlay for a fire arms training range on March 11, 1997, under Ordinance #922, and WHEREAS, A condition of approval was that a final building, site and operation plan be submitted for Plan Commission review prior to any work being done on the parcel, and WHEREAS, The plans submitted (dated received May 23, 1997) depict of fire arms training facility broken into two sections, divided and surrounded by landscaped berms, and WHEREAS, The facility will be operated as described in the attached detailed site and operation plan description as approved by the Standing Committee of the Emerald Park Landfill on April 28, 1997, and WHEREAS, The hours of operation are 8:00 A.M. to 5:OO P.M. Monday through Friday, 8:00 A.M. to Noon on Saturday, limited to 65 days of the year, no hours on Sundays or Holidays and evening hours until 8:00 P.M. from September thru April and WHEREAS, The agencies authorized to use this site are the city of Muskego Police Department, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Milwaukee Office, and the City of Milwaukee Police Department recruit shotgun training and tactical team only with additional agencies using the facility only upon recommendation of the City of Muskego Police Department and the Standing Committee of the Emerald Park Landfill to the Plan Commission of the City of Muskego, and ! THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission approves of the building, site and operation plan for the City of Muskego Police Department as attached and descried in the detailed site and operation plan as approved by the Standing Committee of the Emerald Park Landfill. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a copy of said plans be kept on file in the Building Department and that all aspects of this plan as they relate to landscape areas and drainage shall be maintained in perpetuity unless otherwise authorized by the Plan Commission. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That if occupancy is requested prior to the completion of landscaping and/or asphalting, a bond, letter of credit or cashiers check equal to twice the value of said costs must be submitted to the Planning Department. e Plan Commission City of Muskego Adopted 06-03-97 Deferred Defeated 05-27-97
