APPROVAL OF TEMPORARY SIGNS AND STAND FOR SALE OF
FIREWORKS FOR SAM TRADING, INTL., AT THE PROPERTY LOCATED
AT S63 W13700 JANESVJLLE ROAD
(LINCOLN POINT SHOPPING CENTER)
WHEREAS, A request has been submitted by SAM Trading, Intl., to locate a temporary
sales tent and signs advertising the sale of fireworks, and
WHEREAS, Two 15’ X 15’ tents and a 8’ X 20’ container trailer will be located on the
east end of the Lincoln Point Shopping Center parking lot and contain one (1) 3’ X 15’ banner
and one (1) 4’ X 6’ free standing sign, and
WHEREAS, Fireworks sales were operated at this location last year without any reported
problems, and
WHEREAS, The dates and the hours of operation will be:
-June 10th through July 10th from 9:OO a.m. until 11 :00 p.m., and
from 9:OO a.m. to midnite from July 1st to July 4th
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Plan Commission approve the request for
temporary signs and stand at the east end of the Lincoln Point Shopping Center parking lot for
fireworks sales for SAM Trading, Intl., subject to the above conditions.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That an electrical permit and inspection will be required
by the Building Inspection Department for any electricity hookup.
